Can archival science and diplomatics enhance our ability to authenticate YouTube citizen journalism videos captured in conflict-affected regions? This research explores the possibility of expanding the current process of human rights open-source investigators in verifying online videos by integrating authentication measures of archival diplomatics into the workflow of open-source investigators.
