This course wouldn’t have been possible without our organizing team Chang Lu, Ph.D., Tim Weingärtner, Steven Chu, and Trinh Nguyen-Phan who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the smooth functioning of the course. Further thanks to our distinguished mentors and instructors whose expertise and guidance have been instrumental in shaping the learning journey of all participants. Over the past weeks, we witnessed an incredible display of talent and creativity as participants from all corners of the world delved into the intricacies of blockchain development, smart contracts, decentralized applications, and the limitless possibilities that this transformative technology has to offer. We thank all the guest lecturers and speakers, Javier Arroyo Ferrer ♾, Reza Ramezan, Chen Feng, Jason T. The enthusiasm and engagement throughout the Blockathon was outstanding, and we were thrilled to see the diversity of perspectives and ideas that were brought to the forefront. The projects submitted were not just innovative but also reflective of your commitment to leveraging blockchain for social good and advancing the frontiers of the digital landscape. Thank you to the team from 221A—Jesse McKee and Tao Fei—for co-organizing the Blockathon, our venue sponsor, Ashlee Conery, and to Deepa Chaudhary and T'ai Smith for their feedback to the competing teams.
Our esteemed panel of judges had an arduous task in evaluating your projects, and we commend each participant for the hard work, sleepless nights, and the endless effort poured into crafting exceptional submissions. As an organization deeply invested in promoting technological innovation and education, we feel incredibly proud to have been a part of this transformative experience with all of you.
